How to give yourself a relaxing massage

Day 21 of the B.OK Advent Envelopes is all about getting creative and taking time for yourself. The recipients of the Winter B.OK Box have been given Epsom Bath Salts and Essential Oils, time to put these to good use.

Time to create a Epsom Salt Bath bomb and give yourself a well deserved relaxing massage
To Include:

  • ½ cup baking soda
  • ¼ cup corn starch
  • ¼ cup citric acid
  • ¼ cup Epsom salt (B.OK Wellness Soak, part of the Winter B.OK Box)
  • ½ tbsp. water
  • ¼ tsp essential oil (B.OK Bliss Essence)
  • ½ tbsp. coconut oil, melted
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • 2 plastic ornaments or sphere (cling wrap)

How to:

1.Add Baking soda, corn starch, citric acid, Epsom salt into a medium-sized bowl and stir until combined.

2.In a separate, smaller bowl, add Water, essential oil, coconut oil, food coloring and stir until combined.

3.Slowly, add two ingredients, but only a little at a time. Stir between pours to prevent the wet and dry ingredients from reacting or fizzing. (Save the fizzing for the bath)

4.Once all ingredients are mixed together, it should have the consistency of wet sand. If it doesn’t look like it’s sticking, stir in ½ tsp of water at a time until you can press it between your fingers and it holds together.

5.Wrap the bath bomb mixture to set.

6.Place in the refrigerator overnight.

7.The next day, slowly open and remove.

8.Get your bath running and your body ready for some rejuvenation.

Must have’s for the relaxing massage:

And for those of you who would prefer to make and share, a bath bomb is a great gift idea.
